8 Hours of Scratchy Cloth Hell

Yesterday was full of driving and waiting for the driving to end. We drove all the way through Romania, up from Brasov to the north in Sucevita. We passed through some beautiful areas, all the way through a massive george in the mountains, around the edge of a beautiful lake and over a perfectly paved pass maintained by the EU. We saw our first painted church, the Modavita monestary which was just amazing. The painted churches are monestaries that are painted with frescos both inside and out. Each painting tells a story from the bible, and each church has a unique color scheme that stands out among all of teh others. The Moldavita monestary is the yellow church, with the halos around the saints being a very vibrant yellow. We spent the night in a hotel, several kilometers off of the main road, which took a total of 7 kilometers to find in a city that is just 3 kilometers long. That was very nice but the advertised internet did not work so I have forgotted most of what I meant to write about yesterday. We all found out first hand why the leather is prefered over the cloth on this car, because at least the leather doesnt rub away your skin slowly
